How Does Aunt Betsy Work?
Aunt Betsy prefers to meet her potential clients in person to discuss with them her past work and the vision for your
portrait(s). You determine which Portrait Plan is best for your needs. Aunt Betsy requires $150 deposit to hold the date
of your session. Session fee is waived is you invest $500 or more in portrait prints.
Prior to each Portrait Session, Aunt Betsy schedules a Design Session to meet everyone who will be in your portrait
and see their personalities and how they relate to one another. We will discuss the mood you would like for the portraits
including backdrops, props, clothing and other enhancements to bring out each person’s character.
Aunt Betsy schedules only two Creation Sessions per day so that you have her utmost attention. A one-time courtesy
rescheduling is offered. Additional session rescheduling will incur a fee of $50.
The Creation Session lasts about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the cooperation of children, clothing changes, and
how much fun everyone is having. Aunt Betsy photographs with a digital camera but will use film if you desire.
At the end of the Creation Session we set a time for a Preview Session. Aunt Betsy uses the innovative style of
projection proofing. In this fashion we are able to project your portrait originals to all available sizes. We are happy to
assist in your selection. Your photos are an investment, and we want your choices to be ones you treasure for a lifetime.
Because of the nature of the proofing session, proofs cannot be left with you.
What a thrill it is to see your portraits projected! Be sure to bring everyone who is involved in making the final choices
(grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends).
Since we offer only custom products full payment for orders is due when you order. Your final portraits will be
completed about three to four weeks after your final order is place.

capture the essence of her clients' personalities. She specializes in portraits of maternity, newborns, breastfeeding, children, family and
individuals.
Aunt Betsy's studio is located in Placentia, California. She has clients that travel from all over the United States but they are primarily from
Southern California, and include her neighbors in Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda, Placentia, Corona, Chino, Chino Hills, Orange, La Habra,
Fullerton, Villa Park, Tustin, Costa Mesa, and Brea.
Aunt Betsy offers both in-studio and on-location portrait sessions including park and beach settings. Aunt Betsy provides many services
including custom framing for your wall portrait or storyboard; photo albums; greeting cards; Holiday/Christmas Cards; invitations; and birth
announcements.
She primarily photographs in the digital format to offer flexibility of the images to be reproduced in color, black/white, sepia, and fine art
prints, and retouching. If you prefer film for your portrait, Aunt Betsy can accommodate you.

Holiday/Christmas cards; invitations; and birth announcements.
